Hey KCS students, Welcome to a new school year and a brand new course. Isn't this great? I get to teach/coach my favorite sport, and you get to earn high school credits playing B-ball! Basketball has rules that make the game work and fun for everyone. For the same reasons, my Basketball Leadership course will have some rules. The word STOP will help you remember my four rules: S - Submit to my leadership. Follow my directions with a positive attitude! T - Treat your classmates with respect. They're your teammates! O - On time to every class. Don't make your teammates wait! P - Prepared for every class. You'll need proper attire! In basketball, breaking a rule results in a change of possession or a free throw. If you break a rule, there's a consequence. And the more serious the violation, the greater the consequence. The same will occur in my class. Running lines, missing out on a fun activity, or losing marks are consequences violators could face. Before our next class (Thursday, September 6), please post to my blog an answer to this question: What is one thing you hope to get out of Basketball Leadership 11? Thanks, Mr H

  2. The one thing that I want to get out of Basketball Leadership is that my foul shots and lay ups and my dribbling skills will get stronger! And that my basketball skills will just get better.
