Hey there, basketball students. Thanks for your participation today and yesterday in the class. It was good to have Jennie join us after being away on Wednesday. Here are three things that I thought were really positive from this week: First, you all participated well. Second, players were looking for ways to work together. Third, there is an openness to learning about leadership. Today, we talked about what makes someone a leader on a b-ball team. Your answers were thoughtful. Now you've had a chance to think about it.     i think a leader is someone who is looked up to and respected by the others on the team he encourages people to build them up

    Qualities like confidence, kindness, encouraging attitude, and being able to teach skills are all things a leader should have. Also, a leader should have a basic knowledge of the game and be able to play pretty well so that they can teach their skills and understand the game.

    I think a leader on a basketball team doesn't nesicarilly need to put out lineups or make up plays - that's the coaches job - but needs to adapt to a situation and organize others so that the team will play its best, as well ass the other qualities mentioned.

    I think a leader should know the game and put others before theirself. A leader should never give up on the team and stay positive. Others should look up to a leader as a role model, as a player and as a person.

    What makes a leader is someone is respectful to all the teammates,someone who has dedication towards the team! And just help other teammates out.

    I think a leader on a basketball team is someone with not necessarily the most skill but someone who is a role model. in other words, someone who is willing to put in the effort, and show the other people how to learn and grow as he or she learns also.
